Yassi Pressman wants to do this kind of project in the future
Actress Yassi Pressman talked about her upcoming movie More Than Blue which is based from the 2009 South Korean film, as well as her dream projects in the coming years.
Yassi was part of the action-drama series Ang Probinsyano and she has done action scenes wth her leading man Coco Martin. Her dream to do action as she also loves sports was already fulfilled.
Based on the article in Inquirer Entertainment, there are several projects that Yassi hopes to do in the Future. She would like to do a movie like ‘Salt’ and ‘The Greatest Showman’. “I love sports and action, which I have done in ‘Ang Probinsyano.’ But I also enjoy singing, dancing and performing,” the actress expressed.
Right now, Yassi Pressman is focused on her new movie with JC Santos and Marco Gumabao. She said that she is excited about this and can’t wait to start filming. “The script is beautiful. I cry every time I finish it. I really feel the characters’ emotions,” she related.
She was given a copy of the original South Korean movie, as well as the Taiwanese remake that was released in 2018. However, Yassi said that she did not watch both versions with the hesitation that it might influence her on how she will portray her role.
“I want to create this version without the thoughts about how the original actors did the film. I want to be as natural as I can. I don’t want to end up copying what they did,” the actress stressed.
She shared that she was used of having the script in Ang Probinsyano almost on the spot and so this has trained her to give her rawest emotion in the scene. The story More Than Blue is about the two orphans who are soulmates. However, their love story is not simple and being complicated means that there are things that need to be sacrificed.
Yassi Pressman said that she is happy to be part of this “great piece” and being chosen to be part of this project is a honor for her.
