Robredo’s Spokesperson Speaks About the Vice President

ROBREDO’S SPOKESPERSON – Lawyer Barry Gutierrez reacted to the “extraordinary housewife” comment of Senator Imee Marcos on Vice President Leni Robredo.

Recently, a comment on Vice Pres. Leni Robredo from the camp of former Sen. Bongbong Marcos hooked a lot of attention. The sister of the presidential aspirant and the former Senator, incumbent Sen. Imee Marcos, described the Vice President as an “extraordinary housewife”.

While many of the supporters felt surprised by what the late former President’s daughter said, a group supporting the Vice President believes that being a housewife is already extraordinary. The camp of the Vice President also sees her in several different ways aside from being a housewife.

One of those who reacted to the “extraordinary housewife” comment of Sen. Imee Marcos on Vice Pres. Leni Robredo is Robredo’s spokesperson, Attorney Barry Gutierrez.

On Twitter, Atty. Gutierrez shared the Tweet of ABS-CBN News regarding the “extraordinary housewife” comment of Sen. Imee Marcos on presidential aspirant and Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and stressed that the VP is also an “extraordinary lawyer”, a “productive legislator”, an “actual degree holder” several times, and the “duly elected Vice President” of the country.

Robredo’s spokesperson stressed that he is just spreading some “truth and love” this #kakampinkwednesday. The “Kakampink” is related to the bid of the Vice President as she chose pink as the official color of her candidacy.

Robredo and Marcos Jr. are two (2) of the 97 presidential aspirants for the Election 2022. The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) stressed that there is quite a huge number of aspirants for next year’s presidential race and they will check on the candidates to determine if there are nuisance candidates or those with no intention to run for the position.

Substitutions may take place until November 15. Most of the incumbent government officials who filed their bid for the presidency in 2022 have also released their senatorial slate to the public.
