LJ Reyes On Going To Baguio With Someone “As A Friend”

Boy Abunda asked LJ Reyes about going with someone to Baguio as a friend in this interview.

LJ REYES – In another interview with Boy Abunda, Kapuso actress LJ Reyes opens up about her life now and her view over the “Baguio as a friend” trend.

Paolo Contis statement about going to Baguio as a friend with his A Faraway Land leading lady Yen Santos became a viral meme online. Accordingly, he invited her to be with him in the Summer Capital of the country while he’s going through something amid his split with LJ Reyes. He admitted that he was not thinking when he invited her and such has only worsened the whole situation.

LJ and Paolo have been together for six years and they share a daughter. When LJ did a tell-all interview with Boy Abunda, she was already in New York with her two kids and they have been there for over a month now. In another conversation with the King of Talk just recently, she expressed that she is making decisions in her life slowly. She’s not rushing to do things and she’s taking her time the reason why she cannot disclose a definite answer yet about returning to the Philippines and do acting again.

In the recent interview, she clarified that the tell-all interview she did before was done to protect her kids and not to protect her former partner. She admitted that she cannot unlove Paolo easily but she’s also fully aware that she cannot just continue loving him while disregarding the mistakes he did. Also, in terms of forgiving him, she has been praying for it. She knows she needs to forgive in order to move forward in life with her kids but she will never forget.

“I really do believe that I really have to forgive, not forget, not forget but forgive,” she said. And towards the end of the interview to lighten up the vibe smoothly, Abunda asked LJ if she can also go to Baguio with someone as a friend.

This is her reply while laughing at the question: “Yes. Why not? I’m proud of Baguio as a Filipino. Maraming pwedeng puntahan doon. Maraming pwedeng kainan. Paulo [Avelino] is from Baguio. May family dun si Aki. Pupunta talaga kami dun.”
