Sanya Lopez will be the “First Lady”
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez expressed her excitement as she is set to be the “First Lady” from being the “First Yaya”.
First Yaya is apparently the big break so far in Sanya’s acting career. It is her first titular role and she and the TV series received warm feedback from the viewers.
Aside from having this major project, it was also an honor for Sanya to be paired with award-winning actor Gabby Concepcion. Together, they brought “kilig” to the primetime viewing of many Kapuso fans.
When the romantic-comedy series ended, many fans are expecting that it will have a sequel. Back in September, rumors surfaced that there will be a Book 2. Sanya Lopez was asked back then to confirm this. She said that that she can’t confirm or say anything about that yet since nothing was concrete at that time.
Despite that it was not confirmed yet, Sanya expressed that she is hoping that it will be more exciting for them and the viewers. Just recently, the Kapuso star has confirmed through his social media post that the sequel of First Yaya is indeed happening.
Yaya Melody will be now the First Lady as Gabby character becomes President Glenn Acosta. “Parang panaginip lang ang lahat ng to #FirstLady,” the actress wrote in the caption of her post featuring her side by side photo wearing a housemaid’s uniform and the other one was wearing a glamorous outfit.
Several celebrities also expressed happiness for Sanya Lopez. They also congratulated her on a new project. Meanwhile, with the success of the acting career of Sanya, many fans are anticipating that she will be the next Marian Rivera who is tagged Kapuso Primetime Queen. Sanya said that she still has a long way to go before she can reach the status of someone like Marian.
