Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez renewed her contract with GMA-7 and this is what GMA Artist Center consultant Johnny Manahan said about this.
Sanya recently had a successful primetime teleserye First Yaya with veteran actor Gabby Concepcion. After that big project, she is among celebrities who remained a Kapuso.
After renewing her contract, Sanya Lopez received this message from Mr. M, based on the article in GMA Entertainment. “Kung nasan man siya ngayon, nakangiti nang malaki si Kuya Germs,” the GMAAC consultant said. It is because German Moreno was the one who gave Sanya the opportunity to be in showbiz.
The actress shared in a previous interview that the late star builder told her to join showbiz when she visited her brother Jak Roberto on the set of Walang Tulugan.
Johnny Manahan shared that even though he and Kuya Germs worked in different networks in the past but they are friends as they are in the same industry.
“Kaya kapag tumatawag noon si Kuya Germs sa akin at humihingi ng artista ‘yan, kahit nandoon ako sa isang artist center, go kaagad, parating go basta si Kuya Germs,” the former Star Magic head said.
Mr. M also shared his inspiring message to Sanya Lopez as she remained a Kapuso star. “Now Sanya, you are a rising star now, belonging to a new breed of artists sa Artist Center kaya ngayon, nakatukod kami sa likod mo, we will take care of you kahit anong mangyari sa karera mo,” Johnny Manahan said.
GMA Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong also said that stars like Sanya are the legacy of Kuya Germs in the entertainment industry.
