In an interview with Atty. Gadon, the imprisoned businesswoman said that during the 2010 elections, she gave money to the Senator as campaign money. On the air, Napoles questions Gordon if her contributions to his campaign were included in his reports after he ran for office.

Gadon followed up with a question on the Senator’s claim that he doesn’t know the pork barrel scammer. After then, Napoles said that those involved in her criminal activities apparently forgot about her as soon as she was caught.

Napoles was imprisoned in 2015 after being identified as the mastermind of the infamous Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam. Bong Revilla, Juan Ponce Enrile, and Jinggoy Estrada were allegedly implicated in the scheme.

According to a previous report, Napoles was convicted of bribery and malversation for allegedly receiving at least P20.8 million in bribes from the lawmaker’s pork barrel, which was channeled through sham non-governmental organizations. Napoles was found guilty of 3 charges of graft and 3 counts of malversation, with sentences ranging from 6 to 18 years for each count.
