Allan K is grieving once again
Last year was devastating for comedian-host Allan K because he lost his two siblings and this year, his other brother passed away.
Amid the pandemic, Allan was greatly affected. He had to close his two comedy bars as these kinds of establishments are no longer in demand because of lockdowns. While his business was suffering, his emotional state was also challenged when he lost two of his family members. He lost their “bunso” and just months away from that, his Manang Melba passed away.
Aside from these, he had to go through a health crisis also as he tested positive for the virus. Allan K emotionally revealed this in an episode of Bawal Judgemental, the popular segment in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Despite the trying times, the comedian said that he is holding on to his faith. Just recently, another emotional struggle happened in his life. In his recent post on his Instagram account, the Eat Bulaga host shared a photo of his brother Manong Welvic. “I just lost another brother today. May you rest well in the arms of the Lord in heaven. I love you Manong Welvic,” he wrote in the caption of his post. The comedian-host did not in his post if what was the cause of death.
Several celebrities expressed sympathy to Allan K as he is handling another obstacle in his life. His Eat Bulaga co-hosts Ryan Agoncillo and Paolo Ballesteros commented “condolences” as well as former host Ruby Rodriguez, while The Clash judge Ai-Ai delas Alas said, “Deepest sympathy bf.” Many Instagram followers of Allan also expressed their “pakikiramay”.
