This is why Vice Ganda felt the trauma when Showtime hosts started to get married one by one before.
VICE GANDA – Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda opens up about his fears and trauma when Showtime hosts got married before.
Its Showtime has been entertaining a lot of people for over 11 years and despite the lack of a franchise, the show continued through their digital platforms. We have witnessed the growth of the hosts and the transitions in their lives. One of the main hosts is Vice Ganda and when his fellow hosts started to settle down with their respective partners one by one, he opened up that it turned to be a trauma for him.
We’ve all witnessed when hosts Anne Curtis, Karylle, Vhong Navarro, and others got married and for once, this has actually caused trauma to Vice Ganda. In the Soundtrip With Jugs and Teddy podcast, he admitted this. The superstar admitted that he’s losing time and he will be left behind by the people around him. However, there was this little spark of hope inside him holding on to that one thing – that someone will also come and stay with him.
“Tapos sabi ko nga kay Anne (Curtis) ‘di ba, nag-iiba iba na kayo ng titulo, ‘di ba. Hindi ka na performer lang, hindi ka na actress lang, naging housewife ka na. Tapos bukod sa housewife, naging mother ka na. Ako hindi nagbabago ‘yung title ko. Comedian ako forever.” he said.
And this is when his confession about wanting to settle down and have a family of his own came in. He also wanted his title to be changed to “lover, partner, and parent”. He is now considering a life with a child and he finally found this desire in himself to become a parent.
“Feeling ko I can be a great parent. Nararamdaman ko na sa sarili ko ‘yun,” he jested based on the podcast. He actually never seen himself changing his stand on matters like this but indeed time changes everything. Apart from the idea of having kids, he is also excited over the concept of getting married.
He is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez.
