KOREAN MAN GETS 4K DAILY CALLS – Netflix’s Squid Game became an overnight sensation earning it a massive fanbase.

However, due to the show’s popularity, a Korean man has suffered serious damage. According to an article from Yahoo, a man had been receiving over 4,000 daily calls due to his number being featured in the show.

Obviously, the producers of the show wanted to use a random number. Unfortunately for them, the number actually belonged to a real person from Korea.

Due to this, Netflix said they are negotiating with the phone number owner to resolve the problem. Additionally, a presidential candidate offered the man $85,000 or 100 million won for his number.

As per the article, South Korea’s National Revolutionary Party’s honorary chief, Huh Kyung-young said:

I heard that the owner of the phone number showed on a business card in ‘Squid Game’ is suffering serious damage from prank calls. I would like to buy the number for 100 million won

During the first episode of the show, a business card was shown containing an eight-digit number contestants needed to call to join the survival games.

Unfortunately, they were unaware that the number already belongs to a Korean resident. As such, the man reportedly received thousands of calls from kids unaware that the show is fake.
