Father Arrested After 3-month-old Baby Dies When Struck with Milk Bottle in Cotabato
Local authorities of Cotabato City arrested a father after his 3-month-old baby dies when he allegedly struck it with a milk bottle.
Last night in this city, a 3-month-old baby’s face turned eggplant-colored (pale) when his own father struck him with a milk bottle. Mucher Repalda Flores, 20, a resident of Tamse Road, Barangay Poblacion 4, Cotabato City, was apprehended as the culprit and the baby’s father.

The incident occurred inside the couple’s home, according to Cotabato City Police Office (CCPO) Police Precinct -2 commander Major Elexon Bona. Based on the investigation of the police, the suspect was sleeping with his spouse when their child began to cry (victim).
He mixed the milk in the bottle and fed the child, but it kept crying. The suspect claimed that the infant’s weeping bothered him, so he became enraged and smacked the child in the face with a bottle till it became pale and he passed out.
Based on the report, he awoke his partner and informed him that he had murdered their child. The child’s mother immediately sought assistance from the authorities, which resulted in the suspect’s arrest.
The defendant is now facing charges of parricide under Article 246 of the Revised Penal Code as a result of the incident. The guy blamed himself too much at the police station that he killed his own child.
