Video of Florida Man Who Successfully Traps Alligator Using Garbage Can Goes Viral

A Florida man successfully trapped an alligator inched its way to his neighbor’s front yard using a garbage can.

A man user Eugene Bozzi goes viral online after catching an alligator in front of their home. The brave guy fearlessly faced the reptile without any hesitation and used a garbage can to lure it inside.

The courageous guy admitted that he was frightened at first but he need to do something to prevent the gator from harming his neighbors. He bravely used his army training kicked in and started to act on his own to drive the reptile away.

Eugene is living at Orange County, 14 miles east of Orlando, Florida for only a year. He is originally from Philadelphia.

“Somebody’s gotta step up and do something, we all got to look out for each other right? I was frightened when I had it in it, because it was so powerful. And I didn’t expect that, it was pushing out, whipping its tail around,” Bozzi said.

In the video, it can be seen that the six-feet alligator is crawling in front of his neighbor’s house so he took the garbage can to lure it. He successfully lured the reptile inside the container.

The pushed the cart and dropped the alligator and let it crawl into water. The guy did it on his own because he don’t know the procedure.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission gave some advice to the public after watching the viral video; “Concerned about an alligator? Don’t grab a garbage can, call our hotline at 866-FWC-GATOR (866-392-4286) & we can dispatch a REAL alligator trapper,”

The FWC reported that there are 1.3 million alligators in Florida residing in all 67 counties.
