The video footage of SUV that suddenly accelerates backward and accidentally rammed a restaurant in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.

Over the past few years, vehicular accident has been very rampant not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all across the globe. It usually causes damage to properties and injuries to involved individuals.

The authorities have been implementing stricter traffic rules and regulations to prevent accidents. However, it could not be avoided and usually happen during unexpected time.

The Facebook page ABS-CBN News has shared the video footage of SUV that rammed a restaurant in Angeles City after it accelerates backward. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the video, it can be seen that everything seems fine and goes smoothly at a restaurant near a gasoline station when the SUV driver arrived. The SUV is slowly moving backward when it suddenly accelerates and rammed the establishment.

The vehicle rammed the restaurant and hits several customers and employees inside the establishment. One customer has died and a restaurant employee suffered injuries due to the incident.

The driver immediately escaped after hitting the restaurant. Unfortunately, the authorities nabbed the suspect at a checkpoint in Barangay Pampanga.

The 29-year-old SUV driver will face charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, physical injury, and damage to property.
