Truck in Batangas Plows 2 Vehicles Left 4 Casualties, 7 Injured

A flat-bed truck plowed two vehicles in Nasugbu, Batangas the lead to four casualties including a policeman and seven others are injured.

In a report of GMA News “Balitanghali, it was said that among the dead were the drivers of private vehicles and driver of the flat-bed truck. It also includes the policeman in a car, and a woman that just sweeping in the roadside.

The investigation revealed that the truck, which was loaded with steel bars, was going down Nasugbu Highway and was speeding. Before hitting other vehicles, the truck plowed a small vehicle on the upper part.

It then went straight down, causing it to collide with a car and an SUV. The truck was moving fast on the downhill part of Nasugbu Highway and the driver tried to climb the hill in hopes of stopping the vehicle.

Based on the report, steel bars loaded in the truck fell off. Other steel bars fell on four households and cause some damages.

Meanwhile, there are seven victims involved in the accident that only suffer from injuries. The injured victims were immediately taken to the hospital. Authorities are still investigating.
