Camarines Sur Vendor Nabbed in Entrapment for Allegedly Selling Fake Gold Bars

Police authorities arrested a vendor in an entrapment operation after being caught allegedly selling fake gold bars in Camarines Sur.

In Barangay Dolorosa, Nabua, Camarines Sur, the Camarines Sur Provincial Police Office (CSPPO) detained a salesman who was profiteering from phony gold bars. Edgar Quiapo, 46, a resident of Zone 4, Barangay Angustia in the aforementioned municipality, was identified as the suspect.

Camarines Fake Gold Bars Arrest

According to the CSPPO report, Quiapo was apprehended after officials performed an entrapment operation against him. It was also discovered that the suspect was captured in the process of scamming when he sold the victim a fake gold bar.

Manuelo Borromeo, 53, a resident of Brgy. Pambohan, Mercedes, Camarines Norte, was the victim. He claimed that he transacted with the suspect to acquire a gold bar at a low price and that they immediately agreed to meet up right away.

During the meeting, police officers accompany the victim in order to apprehend the culprit. The suspect was also found with a piece of 500 peso bill and P65,000.00 worth of money used as boodle money. The culprit has been taken into custody and will be dealt with appropriately.

Meanwhile, an attempted robbery inside a tiny business has gone horribly wrong after the victim draws a revolver and shoots the male suspect. Robbers entered the jewelry store, brandishing a gun and pointing it at the customers and saleswomen.

The consumer and store personnel submitted and obeyed the holdups’ commands. The customer, on the other hand, quietly pulled out a revolver and shot the male suspect without hesitation.
