Pia Wurtzbach shared something about her ultimate dream
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach admitted that her ultimate dream is to become a theater actress and here is the reason behind this.
From doing modeling stints, acting projects, and becoming the third Pinay Miss Universe, Pia said that she is still dreaming to do something that she has not done yet.
In her recent vlog, the beauty queen answered questions from her Instagram followers. One of the questions that she answered was about her biggest “what if”.
“My ultimate dream? ‘Wag kayo tatawa ha. Theater is my ultimate dream. It’s my big what if in life,” Pia Wurtzbach revealed. She said that people might laugh about especially those who are saying that she can’t even do a good job on TV and movies but aiming for the theater.
“Seriously, iba ‘yung teatro sa TV, sa movies. Ibang discipline ‘yan. But I really have high, high respects for theater actors and actresses. Parang ibang mundo siya,” she explained.
The beauty queen also shared that every time she watches a play or musical, she feels like she is being transported to a different world. This would astonish her thinking about how talented the people in the theater are.
“Ang galing nilang lahat, like, kahit saan ako tumingin may nangyayari,” Pia added. She also said that it really takes a lot of talent and discipline to be in this field. It is because there is no “take two”. On TV and movie, the director can say “cut” or “take two” but in theater, every scene must be done precisely because there is no given chance to repeat it.
Pia Wurtzbach also said that it seemed that there is no room for mistakes in theater and the actors should focus on how to bounce back when they mess up. “Basta, it’s my big what if in life. Frustrated singer din kasi ako, kung hindi niyo alam,” she enthused.
