Several Residents Including Infant Living Under the Bridge Rescued by Authorities

The authorities were able to rescue several residents including an infant living under the bridge at Parian, Calamba City.

A Facebook user named Jeck Nazareno or “Sonfferje Nazareth” has shared the photos of a poor infant sleeping inside of concrete pipe under a bridge. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

Nazareth posted the photos of the helpless baby and asked the help of kind-hearted netizens and local government unit of Parian Calamba City. He found the infant while he is photocopying his documents along CDH.

Jeck expressed his sympathy towards the residents living under the bridge and find it quite harmful for the baby’s health.

The post reached the attention of the authorities. POSO Calamba together with BPSO Parian at Philippine National Police conducted a rescue operation to save the residents living under the bridge, according to a certain netizen named Rodriguez Jeffrey.

The authorities rescued about nine residents including two infants living under the bridge near Calamba Doctors Hospital. He also thanked Nazareth for expressing his concern towards the less-fortunate.

Isang panawagan ang natugunan agad ng POSO Calamba kasama ang BPSO Parian at ang ating PNP na ma-rescue agad ang mga naninirahan sa ilalim ng tulay sa tabi ng Calamba Doctors Hospital. Nasa siyam na katao ang na rescue at ang dalawa dito ay sanggol pa lamang .
