Rico Blanco was asked about his love life with Maris Racal
Singer-songwriter Rico Blanco shared the reason why he is more open now to talking about his love life with singer-actress Maris Racal.
It started as speculation due to a sweet birthday post and it was finally confirmed by Maris in an interview that she and Rico are indeed a couple now. From collaborating to being lovers, many fans have been expressing support for their relationship.
During a recent interview for the promotion of the new theme song of Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, Rico Blanco was asked if what he feels that now he is being asked about his love life unlike before.
In a video clip posted on the YouTube channel of Chikkaness Ave, the former Rivermaya frontman said that the question was indeed based on a good observation because he realized that now, he is receiving questions about her personal life particularly his love life.
“I feel also that we are working in the space na she’s doing music, I’m doing music, She’s acting, she’s like serious about her craft, so, baka doon ako nakahanap ng siguro ng area na comfortable ako na pag-usapan because it’s not really a private thing, it’s about something that we’re both passionate about,” he shared.
Rico Blanco also said that perhaps it is the window or doorway leading to the way that what is something considered to be private will be talked about publicly.
He added that he thinks that they are still keeping a lot of things private and they are excited to share something when it is about their music, their art. Rico also revealed that he is also as surprised as what the other people feel about this aspect of his life.
Last Sunday, netizens and avid viewers of ASAP Natin ‘To gushed over the “kilig” duet of Rico and Maris singing the song Abot Langit.
