Fighting Senator Manny Pacquiao Officially Files Case Vs “Appointed Son Of God” Quiboloy
PACQUIAO VS QUIBOLOY – Senator Manny Pacquiao was seen in the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office as he officially files a case against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Netizens across the country have waited for the fight between PACMAN and PACQ. However, this match won’t be in the boxing ring but in the court of law.
According to a report from Manila Bulletin, Pacquiao was seen filing a case against Quiboloy for violating Article 355 of the Revised Penal Code and violations against Section 4(c)(4) of RA 10175.
Article 355, simply put, is charges against libel, public malicious imputation of a crime, or statements that are created to dishonor or discredit an individual. Meanwhile, RA 10175 pertains to the “Cyber Crime Prevention Act of 2012”.
“The unlawful or prohibited acts of libel as defined in Article 355 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, committed through a computer system or any other similar means which may be devised in the future.”
Previously, Pacquiao said:
Ito si Quiboloy po gumagawa ng issue na di niya alam. Dapat di siya nakikialam sa gobyerno. Magpokus na lang po siya dun sa pag-evangelize sa kanyang mga disipulong naniniwala sa kanya
This was after the Pastor called out the Senator for allegedly having a P3.5 billion project in Saranggani.
Since then, Quiboloy has used his online platform where he spreads his gospel to call out the Senator. However, Pacquiao was seen silent and had minimal to no response to Quiboloy’s recent statements.
