Why Manny Pacquiao To File A Complaint Against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy
MANNY PACQUIAO – On Wednesday, legendary boxer and senator Manny Pacquiao said he will file a case against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao arrived in Manila on Monday, August 30. The eight-division boxing champ and the incumbent senator did not expect to have somewhat a hero’s welcome after his fight with Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas last August 22, in Las Vegas.
Pacman arrived at 3:23 am on PAL flight PR 103 from LA together with his family and staff. His allies said Pacquiao is ready to disclose his plans both in boxing and politics when he arrives.
In an interview on ANC’s Headstart on Wednesday, Manny Pacquiao said he will file a complaint against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. The pastor is the founding leader of the Davao-based Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
The fighting senator said he will sue Quiboloy for spreading misinformation that he allegedly had a P3.5 billion project in Sarangani. He has represented the province from 2010 to 2016.

Manny Pacquiao said the building that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy uploaded on social media dated back to 1996. He said it is not the one he built for P300 to P500 million.
The boxing champ said the pastor is making an issue out of things he doesn’t know. He should just focus on evangelizing his followers and not meddle in government.
“Ito si Quiboloy po gumagawa ng issue na di niya alam. Dapat di siya nakikialam sa gobyerno. Magpokus na lang po siya dun sa pag-evangelize sa kanyang mga disipulong naniniwala sa kanya,” said Pacquiao.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy made the claims after the boxer called out alleged corrupt government agencies and drew the ire of President Duterte. Pacquiao said he will personally file a case against Quiboloy.
“Ako mismo magfa-file ng case against him. Desidido na po ako kasi may gobyerno naman tayo at pinagkakatiwalaan natin na lahat ng kasalanan ay idaing natin sa gobyerno at mabigyan ako ng katarungan at parusahan sila,” he said.
