ANGEL LOCSIN – Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin shares in a post her 94-year-old father, old and blind, contracted COVID-19.
No one is indeed spared. The COVID-19 cases in the country are increasing day by day despite the lockdown implemented by the government for over a year now. The vaccination programs across the country are still ongoing but the effects of pandemics are visible – poor and hungry people, understaffed hospitals, medical institutions in full capacity already, increasing COVID-19 deaths, job losses, businesses permanently closing down, and many more.
And currently, despite utmost care, the father of Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin has still contracted the coronavirus. He is 94 years old already and blind. Imagine the struggle of being in this kind of situation? In an Instagram post, Angel expressed sadness over her father’s situation. She aired her sentiments through an Instagram post on Sunday.
She shared a photo of her father inside an ambulance and described the past week as “helpless” to her. She said, “It’s been a week of feeling helpless. Imagine having covid at 94. Now imagine being blind in unfamiliar surroundings.”
The actress recognized the realizations she had amid the health crisis. She is also acknowledging that everyone is going through a battle on their own only that others go through a battle that’s much harder compared to others. She added “this too shall pass” as she left an encouraging message to PWDs and to every people who are fighting their own battles.
Several celebrities reached out to her and expressed prayers for her father’s fast recovery. Celebrities like Bea Alonzo, Judy Ann Santos, Marian Rivera, Iza Calzado, Charo Santos, Camille Prats, Liz Uy, and Sunshine Cruz commented on her post.
