Marco Gumabao the mistakes he did in his past relationship
Actor Marco Gumabao shared the realization that he had after he cheated on his ex-girlfriend that also destroyed his reputation.
During a recent interview for his new series Di na Muli with Julia Barretto, Marco admitted that he committed a major mistake in his past relationship, based on the article in PEP. He cheated and he is not proud of what he did.
Back then, he was younger and does not know a lot about love and relationship. He regretted what he did because it did not just affect the other party but also was detrimental to himself.
“Wala kang magagawa para bawiin…But the only thing you can do in the future is huwag mo na siyempre ulitin yung mali mo,” Marco Gumabao said. This made him realize not to do the same mistake again in the future as he already learned his lesson. The actor did not specify who that ex-girlfriend was.
On the other hand, it can be recalled that Marco already mentioned this past mistake that he did during an interview on the defunct late-night talk show of Vice Ganda. In that Gandang Gabi Vice episode in 2019, Marco Gumabao and Anne Curtis promoted their movie Just A Stranger.
Vice asked Marco if he has ever cheated and the latter admitted that he did. “Aaminin ko, yes, nakapag-cheat na ako sa ex ko. I’m not proud of it, of course. Pero aminado naman ako na nagkamali ako before,” the actor said.
At that time, Marco even said sorry on-air to his ex-girlfriend. Although he admitted that cheating is a wrongful act, he mentioned that the reasons behind can be understandable, in relation to the theme of his movie with Anne.
“Pero siyempre, may mga circumstances na parang, for example, what if this person di na niya nakukuha yung love na gusto niya, or yung affection from the other person. Pero wala silang magawa kasi kasal sila,” Marco said.
