Camille Prats was asked about the breakup of LJ Reyes and Paolo Contis
Mars Pa More host Camille Prats shared her thoughts on the LJ Reyes-Paolo Contis break that went controversial.
Camille has known LJ for several years now and they even got closer when the latter became a guest co-host in the Kapuso talk show. Just recently, LJ revealed the devastating thing that happened in her six-year relationship with Paolo.
Talking to the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Camille said that at first, she had no idea about this even though she was working with LJ. It is because the latter was not open about it or showing any sign that she were going through something.
“Hindi siya nag-share na meron na pala siyang pinagdadaanan nung panahon na ‘yon,” Camille Prats said and added that she only knew about the problem through social media.
Upon knowing about it, she immediately messaged LJ Reyes. “I asked her how she is. Siyempre, kinakamusta ko si Paolo,” the talk show host said. Camille and Paolo both started their career as child stars in the Kapamilya network and they had worked together in the past.
As a friend to LJ, Camille said that she is showing to the former that she can lean on her. The latter added that she understands what her friend is going through right now.
“Alam kong hindi madali yung lahat ng pinagdadaanan niya, lalo na kasi may mga bata na involved,” Camille said. The former child star also said that she has been sending prayers to LJ amid this difficult time for her.
“I just want her to know a lot of people love her. Sana enough na ‘yon para maging mas malakas pa yung loob niya, para sa sarili niya, at mga anak niya.” Camille Prats said.
She added that even though LJ Reyes would reply to her “pangangamusta”, the latter would not elaborate on things.
