Family Parks Their Car Inside Own House For Having No Garage
A certain family goes viral for parking their car inside the living room for having no parking lot on their home.
A Facebook user named Ry Cheng has shared the video footage of their vehicle parked in the living room to ensure its safety. The post goes viral online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that the vehicle (Isuzu)) was parked inside the living room of Cheng’s family. Cheng’s home was not that big but it has enough space for the vehicle, which pushed them to make it as the parking lot.
Ry said that they have been keeping their car inside their home in Imus, Cavite since September 2020. She also explained that the vehicle has already become part of their family and she don’t mind parking it in their living room.
Previously, the family is parking their vehicle in their other house.
“Una pa lang po, hindi na namin pina-park yung car po sa labas, kasi po alam namin na hindi iyon tama and hindi po naman namin property yung labas, Mas pinili po namin sa loob para mas safe at hindi na need bantayan pa sa labas iwas na rin sa mga trip na gasgasan ang car,” Cheng said.
The family hasn’t planned yet to build a garage for the car. Ry also explained that her family were already used to it.
In 2019, DILG spokesperson Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya reiterated that the government should make a law prohibiting individuals from purchasing vehicles if they don’t have garage.
