Iloilo City Councilor Spotted Feeding Stray Dogs Earned Praise Online
A kind animal lover man spotted feeding stray dogs in a parking lot that goes viral online was the councilor of the “city of love”, Iloilo City.
Recently, a Facebook post of Iana Kristel Bedua Devinagracia shows an animal lover man who came out of his car and calls all the stray dogs in the area to feed them.
According to her, she was withdrawing money at a BPI branch in Atria Park District in Iloilo City when she spotted the good samaritan. The scene caught Iana’s attention, so she took some photos and shared them on social media.
“While withdrawing in bpi atria earlier i saw this man with his car and open the compartment and grab some food to feed all the dog in the atria street,” she said on her caption.
“My heart got melt[ed]. Even though we experience so much in this year 2020, but there is still humanity. I salute you, manong,” she proudly added.

Her post has gone viral on social media as many netizens have admired the kindness of the man to stray dogs amid the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, some netizens identified the man as Attorney Romel Duron, a councilor of the said city.
Indeed, the councilor has shown to be a great example serving not just his people but the animals as well. Here we see people’s love and concern to stray animals, not like other drivers who do not care if they hit these animals.
