Here’s what Julie Anne San Jose said about her musical documentary
Kapuso star Julie Anne San Jose revealed the story behind her statement “matagal ko nang kinikimkim” in her Limitless musical documentary.
Julie Anne is indeed one of the top artists of GMA whose versatility can bring her to places. Literally, speaking, for her upcoming three-part special series, the singer-actress will go around the Philippines.
While she is showcasing the picturesque sceneries in different parts of the country, she will also share her thoughts and emotions which she has done before, During a recent virtual press conference for this new project of Julie Anne San Jose, based on the article in Inquirer Entertainment, she talked about what this music documentary will offer.
“I rarely rarely speak about my emotions and struggles. People always see me laughing … kunwari OK lang. But I’m also human and feel the same things. You will see that here. It was overwhelming,” she shared.
Julie Anne also mentioned a part in the teaser video in which she said something about her “kinikimkim”. “There’s a part in the series’ trailer where I say, ‘Ang tagal ko nang kinikimkim.’ And I think I was speaking for everyone and everything we’re going through because of the pandemic. And we’re all affected in different aspects … I said that because all of us want to be free from the pandemic and see the world again,” the singer-actress related.
Just like many people, taveling is also a breather for Julie Anne. Through her documentary, she said that she is happy to have this breather which is a much needed thing for her.
The first part of her documentary will feature the Mindanao Region that is set to air on September 17. For the remaining two legs, Julie Anne San Jose will showcase the Visayas and Luzon Regions.
“This is more than an online show. It has led to realizations that there’s still life beyond the pandemic. I can’t reiterate enough that there’s so much to see out there. And I want people to experience this journey with me,” she shared.
This project is directed by Paolo Valenciano who previously expressed good words for Julie Anne San Jose.
