Actress Barbie Forteza revealed the reason why she admires so much her fellow Kapuso star Julie Anne San Jose.
Celebrities are being looked up to by their fans and supporters but there are also celebrities who admire their fellow celebrities, just like what Barbie admitted during a recent episode of Kapuso Confessions. Barbie expressed that she is a big fan of Julie Anne who is now being tagged as Asia’s Limitless Star.
“Okay! Nagagalingan ako kay my gosh, Julie Anne San Jose. Grabe! Kasi parang nung nagsabog ng talent si Lord, parang nasa first row siya. Parang unang-una siya sa pila, so nakuha niya lahat–‘yung sa pagkanta, pagsayaw, pagperform, pag-arte di ba,” Barbie Forteza shared.
She added that Julie Anne also has a remarkable skill when it comes to dealing with other people around her. ‘Who she is as a person basically nagagalingan ako sa kanya kung papaano niya hinahandle ‘yung kanyang sarili,” the Captain Barbie actress said.
When it comes to her acting career, Barbie said that the most challenging director she has encountered so far was Milo Sogueco who directed the indie film Mariquina.
The actress said that their director was very meticulous as he already envisioned what he wants to happen in certain scenes and as an actress, It was challenging for Barbie to deliver the exact instruction from the filmmaker. Fortunately, she was able to do whatever was directed to her and she is happy that she became friends with Direk Milo.
The said movie gave Barbie the Best Supporting Actress Awards in the 10th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival in 2014. “Siguro, well, achievement na rin siguro ang mga awards di ba na hindi ko makukuha kundi dahil sa GMA then siyempre without their permission to do indie films di ba. And to be recognized internationally,” the actress answered when asked about the biggest achievement that she has as a Kapuso.
