WORLD WAR Z – The popular zombie flick World War Z starring Brad Pitt was playing in a vaccination site in the Philippines.

Obviously, the Philippines is known for its deeply-rooted traditions and beliefs. But, oftentimes, these lead to many Filipinos believing in superstition.

From ghosts, to “aswangs” to your grandparents being reincarnated as a butterfly, the Filipino people have high regard for their belief system. Unfortunately, believing in that many tales sometimes have their negative effects.

Among these are believing that getting vaccinated would turn you into zombies. On Twitter, netizen “htglrzzk” posted:

my sister’s friend is in the queue to get vaccinated in cavite and they set it up so that they can watch a movie while they wait. bit of a questionable film choice…

The post quickly went viral with netizens saying that this was the perfect movie to watch while getting your shots. Meanwhile, others jested that if you don’t want to be zombies, you need to get your vaccine.

Apparently, the vaccination site in the photo was in the Bataan People’s Center in the city of Balanga, Bataan. Still, for the most part, people are enjoying the satire and irony in showing the film.
