Aside from Inoue, Casimero also wants to fight Nonito Donaire Jr., a fellow Filipino champion who withdrew out of their previous fight. WBC world bantamweight champion Donaire now has the title, while WBO world bantamweight champion Casimero holds the title.
Meanwhile, Inoue is the world bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF). This year’s fight between Casimero and Donaire was supposed to happen, but it didn’t happen.
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) test was allegedly not submitted on time by Casimero’s camp. Donaire was also upset over Casimero’s alleged mistreatment of his wife.
Meanwhile, Inoue was irritated by Casimero’s pompous remarks about him following his victory over Guillermo Rigondeaux. Inoue said that under boxing rules, he would defeat Casimero.
“Once the match with Casimero is decided, I would like to beat it under the rule of boxing. Therefore, we firmly ask for weight management ‘doping’ management so that the match will be established. I hope this year,” the Japanese said. fighter in a tweet recently.
But, according to a tweet from the Japanese boxer on August 27, he is dead set on fighting Casimero. “Everything is clear on the ring. Organize a match without giving priority to Donaire,” Inoue said.
