Traffic Enforcer, Municipal Staff Caught in a Drug Den in Butuan City Arrested
Butuan City police arrested a traffic enforcer and a municipal staff after they were caught using illegal drugs during a drug den raid.
According to the report, when the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Caraga (PDEA-CARAGA) and Butuan City Philippine National Police (PNP) raided their drug den, a traffic enforcer and municipal staff, as well as three others, were arrested taking drugs.

A certain Wesley Owen Morales, 34, of Purok 22, Brgy. Poblacion, municipal administrative assistant 2; Dennis Doctora, 39, traffic enforcer, and his wife Dimple Doctora, 44, of Purok 15, Brgy. Poblacion; and Louie Villaruz, 34, mechanic, of Purok 1, Brgy. La Union, Butuan City, were the drug suspects arrested during the raid, based on the police report.
The authorities raided the house of Bryan Paldapan, of Purok 5, Brgy. Poblacion, Butuan City, where the drug den was located, according to the PDEA-CARAGA report. Authorities claim they obtained information about Paldapan’s illicit operations and quickly launched a buy-bust operation.
The suspects were captured sniffing illegal drugs called “shabu” when they arrived at the site. Authorities recovered one sealed plastic sachet containing shabu, as well as seven more plastic sachets weighing ten grams, based on the report.
A mobile phone, shabu paraphernalia, three metal foil strips, P1,000, and P2,100 to buy-bust money. As per the report, PDEA-CARAGA has already taken custody of the accused, who are facing several crimes.
