Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza was mentioned by actor Janus del Prado during a recent interview and this is the reason why.
Janus sat down with comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz for an exclusive interview regarding his intriguing social media posts. These past few days, the Instagram posts of Janus caught the attention of the online community.
Netizens guessed that he was talking about actor Gerald Anderson who is the ex-boyfriend of his close friend actress Bea Alonzo. Janus talked about the “milagro” that “G” and “P” did on the set of “MPY”.
He also shared that because he spilled the tea, angry fans have been sending death threats to him. In line with the bashing and the negative reactions that he received, Janus said in the interview that he chose not to mind them even though one of his friends offered to help him to bring this matter to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The actor stressed that celebrities have the responsibility to reprimand their fans who are not acting accordingly on social media. He cited an example and this is Maine Mendoza.
Janus mentioned the time when AlDub fans, supporters of Maine’s former love team with Alden Richards, the Phenomenal Star told their fans to behave.
“Gayahin niyo si Maine, sinaway niya yung mga nagsasabi na ng masama tungkol sa rival love team dati ng AlDub na ‘huwag ganun, hindi tayo ganyan,’” Janus said.
He added that this is the right thing to do because if the celebrity will tolerate this kind of act of their fans, it goes to show that he or she is also the same.
