Regine Velasquez talked about her experience every time she has a migraine attack
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez shared how she is suffering from a “debilitating” migraine that can last for weeks.
In whatever field of career, a person is, being healthy is a must. However, just like other ordinary people, stars like Regine also can be greatly affected by her health at times.
During a recent interview on ABS-CBN’s morning talk show Magandang Buhay, the singer-actress shared what is happening to her when her migraine occurs.
She said that this can last until three weeks as it is called a “build-up headache” and it is getting worse every day. “Hanggang sa sukdulan na niya na gusto mo na lang, ewan ko,” Regine Velasquez said.
She added that the pain does not go right away when the migraine is finished because it turns into a “tension headache”. The Songbird shared that at this point in time, even her neck and shoulders are aching.
She revealed that the recent attack was a build-up migraine for three weeks. This is the first time that she experienced this and so it took a long time for her recovery as well.
Regine also said that it made her felt stressed and that she was becoming anxious. Within that span of time, she can’t do anything. “Debilitating siya, I can’t play with my son, I can’t even watch TV and that’s my happiness,” the Songbird said.
She also shared that there was a time that she was not fully aware of what she was doing because of her migraine. Regine said that she felt confused during an episode of ASAP Natin ‘To, she was not aware where to go and so her co-stars were just assisting and leading her to where she was supposed to go.
“For people who have never experienced this, you would think that it is just a headache, but it’s not,” Regine Velasquez said. Amid this problem with her health, the singer-actress said that she is thankful that her husband OPM icon Ogie Alcasid is always there to take care of her.
