3 Teenagers Died After Accidentally Hit by PNR Train While Walking on Railway
STA. MESA, MANILA – Three teenagers have passed away after accidentally struck by a train of Philippine National Railways.
Nowadays, accident has been of the common cause of death among some individuals. The authorities are advising the public to take precautionary measure and be more careful to avoid being involved in unfortunate incidents.
However, accident could not be avoided at all times. Extra care and awareness as well as presence of mind is important.
Last Sunday evening (August 22, 2021), three youngsters died after accidentally hit by a train of Philippine National Railways in Sta. Mesa, Manila. The victims with age ranging from 16 to 17 years old were dead on the spot.
Barangay tanod Lester Narra reported that the victims were walking in the middle of the railways when the incident happened. He tried to warn the kids but the teenagers did not hear his voice due to loud noise coming from the train.
The train came from curvature road prompting the victims not to analyze the lane that the train will come. The teenagers were former residents of Old Sta. Mesa and just visited the area to play basketball.

The poor victims suffered severe injuries due to the incident, which leads to their unexpected death.
“Nakita ko sila pababa eh. Ditong way sila. Nagulat ako bigla silang lumipat eh nandun yung tren. Kaya nadisgrasya sila kasi hindi nila alam saan nanggagaling yung tren,” a witness named Edson Ragas.
The police authorities are currently searching for the train operator for investigation.
