Here’s what Maine Mendoza said about Arjo Atayde who left when he tested positive for COVID-19.
MAINE MENDOZA – Famous personality Maine Mendoza airs reactions after Arjo Atayde left Baguio City when he tested positive for coronavirus.
Actor Arjo Atayde was in Baguio City shooting for Hey Joe but as per his production company, he has a pre-existing medical condition. He was rushed to a hospital in Manila last August 17 after he tested positive for COVID-19. In a statement issued by his production house Feelmaking Productions, he got a positive result on August 16 and has been experiencing symptoms like high fever, headaches, and difficulty breathing.
Nine other people tested positive but are asymptomatic. They are now in quarantine. The actor’s family reached out to Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong but they will halt the film production after the actor went away ahead of the release of the test result. Such a hasty exit alarmed the mayor because he could have had infected other people.
And reacting to the issue of her boyfriend is Maine Mendoza, who replied to a netizen regarding this issue. She is accordingly not tolerating what her boyfriend has done but stressed that people online still know so little about the whole picture of the situation.
She added, “And I hope he gets the chance to tell his side and the context of what had happened these past few days. I also hope you do not base your judgments solely on what you see online because you might just be seeing an angle of the real scenario.”
Arjo and Maine are a couple for more than two years already. Their relationship was a bit controversial a first and was highly criticized. They made their relationship public in 2019 and since then kept it low-key. They have scant public posts about each other and with each other but were all saved for special occasions only.
