Lolit Solis reveals Mark Herras tried to borrow money from her and she now feels guilty for doing the revelation.
MARK HERRAS – Showbiz reporter Lolit Solis admits she’s feeling guilty now after she made the “utang” revelation about Mark Herras.
In a previous article, former dancer RR Enriquez lashed out at Lolit Solis for supposedly shaming Mark Herras after he tried to borrow money from her worth Php 30,000.00. Enriquez expressed that Solis could have just taken the matter privately because after all, she is managing his career. Such a revelation was accordingly a “pamamahiya” to the part of the actor.
Admitting that she wanted to dip her finger into controversy, she denounced the veteran showbiz scribe-talent manager. She felt sorry for Mark and lambasted the old female columnist for making the story public, as if not even considering that the actor is trusting her because she is his manager.
Solis revealed this in the recent episode of her weekly online show. She shared that the actor rang her up to borrow Php 30,000.00 for his child’s formula milk. She added that instead of saying “yes” immediately, he heard some harsh words from her because of the misfortunes he has cast upon himself.
Since he won a reality show, his career slowed down, unlike his contemporaries who are now successful like Jennylyn Mercado. Lolit went on, “Thirty thousand lang, wala ka? Eh, buti pa pala ‘yung PA [personal assistant ko], may P50,000! Naku, talagang inalipusta ko siya!”
She had dropped some other revelations about the actor but after the lash out she received online, she addressed the controversy her revelations have made. Accordingly, it was never her intention to shame the actor but to just knock some sense on him because he is now a father. Moreover, he was not the only one who tried to borrow some money from her.
Lolit stated that she just got mad at him because he doesn’t have money as little as Php 30k – he who is a famous celebrity. She said, “Galit, iritasyon at awa ang naramdaman ko. Kaya siguro ng nasa Take It, Per Minute… Me Ganon! nabanggit ko.”
In the end, she lent him the money he was asking and a part of her felt guilty because it looked like she has seemingly really put the actor to shame. But on the other hand, she is happy knowing that there are people who still love Mark and willingly defended him regarding this issue.
