Pia Wurtzbach shared this trivia about herself
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach revealed that she had a dream of becoming a singer when she was younger.
Pia is definitely one of the most popular and inspirational women in the Philippines. Before becoming the third Pinay Miss Universe, she also went through a lot of hardship to achieve what she has now. In previous interviews, she shared that she had to work at an early age for her family. Joining the world of pageantry was also a big challenge for her as she joined Binibining Pilipinas three times before coveting the title that will make her represent the country in the most prestigious international beauty pageant.
Many people might say that Pia Wurtzbach was indeed meant to be a beauty queen. However, she shared in one of her recent social media posts, based on the article in Bandera that being a beauty queen was not her childhood dream.
“Did you know that my first dream was to become a singer? Well, things didn’t pan out that way but I did start with modeling and then acting,” the beauty queen said.
Then, she also shared that she used to work as a waitress that made her think about pursuing a career as a chef. Because of this, she graduated from culinary school. However, her journey in life led her to another field and she became successful and well-known not only in the Philippines but around the globe as well.
“Looking at this photo, I’m glad I had the courage to say YES to chase my dreams and I hope as you read this, you find the courage to chase your dreams too!” she said.
Pia Wurtzbach continues her goal to learn more as she decided to study again. “Nag-aaral ako sa Open University sa UP (University of the Philippines) ng entrepreneurship. Pero non-formal course kasi high school lang ako,” she said.
The beauty queen aims to be further her knowledge when it comes to business and eventually in the future she can create her own brand. She is doing this with the knowledge that being in the entertainment industry is not forever. This will be a sort of fallback for her and her own family in the future.
