Gab Valenciano pays tribute to Mr. Pure Energy
OPM icon Gary Valenciano is celebrating another year in his life and his son, Gab Valenciano, wrote this heartfelt message for him.
Being the son of the singer, songwriter, and actor, Gab has been exposed to the entertainment industry at a young age. In his recent Instagram post, the younger Valenciano shared to his social media followers how his father became an inspiration to him and his siblings.
“Happy Birthday, Papa. Dad, this video speaks for itself. Through the years, you have inspired me to be the best I can be not just as a performer, but as a person who loves God, loves his family, and simply chooses to do what is right,” he said.
Gab Valenciano is also thankful that his father allowed him to fly with his own wings. Definitely, being a son of Gary V. is something that makes Gab proud. He is also thankful to have the chance to share the stage with the OPM icon.
“You will always and forever be my hero and someone I aspire to be. Happy happy birthday, Papa. I love you and thank you for always choosing us. For always putting us first. And for simply being my dad,” he said.
In the short video that Gab Valenciano dedicated to his father as a tribute for his birthday, he featured the memorable moments on stage while performing with Mr. Pure Energy. Gary’s other son Paolo Valenciano was also with them.
Meanwhile, last March when Gary’s wife Angeli Pangilinan tested positive for COVID-19, both of them were in-home quarantine for several days. In order to cheer them up, their children, Paolo, Gab, and Kiana showed sweet gestures that they really appreciated. This goes to show how close they are to each other, especially amid the crisis.
