Hardworking Man Asking for Hot Water to Fill Empty Stomach Goes Viral and Receives Blessings From Netizens

A hardworking man received cash aid from the kind-hearted netizens who were moved by his story for taking two jobs at the same time.

A Facebook user named AureLei Galvan has shared the photos of a poor Lalamove rider asking for hot water to fill his empty stomach. The post immediately goes viral online and garnered various reactions from the online community.

Galvan narrated that the delivery employee asked for a cup of hot water to fill his empty stomach. The rider identified as Kuya Michael explained that he would just like to drink coffee after skipping meals due to work.

Michael started his work as a Lalamove rider last June 29, 2021. Aside from his delivery job during nighttime (6:00 pm – 6:00 am), he is also working as a factory worker during daytime, which is extremely exhausting.

AureLei asked the online community if they could share some amount to help the delivery employee. The netizens were quick to send help and immediately shared their blessings for Kuya Michael.

Based on the photos, the rider received rice, several packs of coffee, fruits and cash assistance. The rider has also expressed his gratefulness towards the people who helped amid the coronavirus pandemic.
