LARGEST TIRE GRAVEYARD – The video shows toxic black smoke billowing from the six-acre facility that has been captured on satellite.

Over 2 billion tires are produced annually and they will journey for about 32,180 kilometers over the course of their lifespan. It will be recycled or dumped in a tire graveyard when it already outlives its usefulness.

The largest tire graveyard in the world is located in the Sulaibiya area of Kuwait. Every year, a gigantic crater within the sand is quarried and filled with old tires. These tire mountains may even be seen from space.

Based on a report from The Sun, the tire graveyard in Kuwait is now on fire and the toxic black smoke has been captured on satellite. The six (6) acre facility holds around seven (7) million tires.

These old tires are believed to be from both Kuwait and other countries. They allow their neighboring international locations to ship their tire waste to the graveyard for payment.

As soon as the news broke, concerned netizens took to social media to express their reaction to the burning pile of tires. They were left horrified since the burning tires release carcinogenic dioxins and pollutants that can trigger lung diseases such as asthma.

According to the report, the tire fire is common in Kuwait. The local population was spared from the toxic black smoke as the wind blew it towards the gulf. Their government is planning to construct 3 factories that recycle tires.
