DANIEL PADILLA – Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla shares why he is not that active when it comes to social media and other digital platforms.

Social media sites are platforms where famous personalities and celebrities can reach their fans and eventually update them about their lives. However, social media to some becomes their channel to judge other people by leaving offensive and foul comments which are called “bashing” in the current times. And such irresponsibility and abuse are something Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla is not in favor of.

During The Purple Chair Interview of the actor with Boy Abunda for the King of Talk’s YouTube channel, he expressed that he’s being responsible for using his accounts. He posts just to update his fans and cited his girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo who is so “natural” with her work. He said, “Si Kathryn ang pinakamagandang example, kung paano siya magtrabaho, the ethics ng… natural na natural. Sa akin, it’s not natural. Hindi ko kaya, nahihirapan ako. Pero sa iba ko na lang siya ginagawa.”

He admitted that he really can’t do streaming. He also stated the vanity and the negative side of social media because some people online get crazy about the number of likes and followers. He agreed to Kobe Paras when he said that the counting of likes and followers must be terminated.

“Kapag inalis mo kasi ‘yon, magbabago rin ang tema ng lahat. Mag-iiba. Pero hindi na ito kumpitensiya ng… The problem is in the industry, kailangan nila yung mga numero na ‘yon. Ang hirap ibalanse,” he aired his opinion.

Meanwhile, Daniel also confirmed that he will be doing a series and a film with his reel and real-life partner.
