Pinay Skateboarder Margielyn Didal Caught Attention in Olympics Over Her Expressions
MARGIELYN DIDAL – The Filipina skateboarder representing the Philippines in Tokyo Olympics has earned attention over her memeable expressions.
Despite the fact that the Pinay skateboarder fell short of the Olympic podium, her cheerful and approachable demeanor drew the attention of sports fans. During her time in the finals of the women’s skateboarding street Olympic event at the Ariake Skate Park in Tokyo, she won the hearts of people all around the world with her charisma, attitude, and unwavering enthusiasm.
Didal couldn’t maintain her strong start in her first two runs after an unfortunate fall. But the 22-year-old Cebu City skateboarder kept going with a smile on his face.

The Olympics’ official Twitter account saw her contagious smile and tweeted, “This will be known as the “Margielyn Didal seal approval,” with Didad sitting with thumbs up.
Didal has unquestionably brought honor to the country. Not only for her physical accomplishments as the reigning Asian Games, Southeast Asian (SEA) Games champion, and Olympic finalist, but also for how she exemplified the Filipino spirit. Didal has also wowed Olympic viewers from throughout the world.
In Brazil, Didal’s opponent, 13-year-old silver medallist Rayssa Leal, had supporters from all over the world. The two became friends and even collaborated on a Tiktok video.
One of the key reasons why Margielyn stole the show at the Tokyo Summer Olympics was her bright energy. Her whole atmosphere, on the other hand, felt like a reminder that it’s okay to enjoy life even while you’re losing.
