Lolit Solis said this about Joey de Leon
“Ang plastik na tao!” This is what veteran showbiz columnist-talent manager Lolit Solis said about Eat Bulaga host Joey de Leon.
Lolit and Joey were able to work together in the defunct Kapuso showbiz talk show Startalk with Butch Francisco and Ricky Lo. In the recent vlog of Ogie Diaz, Lolit had this recent revelation about what Joey did when they were younger.
While Lolit was sharing things about her life, past issues, and controversies in showbiz that she went through, Ogie asked her about Joey.
The veteran columnist said that she and the veteran comedian-host were elementary classmates. “Si Joey de Leon ang plastik na tao ah,” Lolit Solis said.
She revealed that the Eat Bulaga host would often hit her at the back and stab her with a pencil. Because of this, Lolit would fight back but when the teacher arrives, she would be the bad kid.
“Pag dating ng teacher siya ang parang ginulpi ko, binully ko. Ako ang laging napapagalitan ng teacher,” Lolit said. She added that Joey was the “teacher’s pet” and so, she was the one who would get punished as their teacher believed that the comedian was “mabait na bata” while the columnist got the impression that she would always start a fight.
“Ang tingin ng teacher naming si Joey ang laging mabait,” Lolit Solis added and imitated Joey de Leon’s gesture of complaining that his uniform was torn. This would immediately to the accusation that Lolit was the one who did that.
With this revelation of Lolit, Ogie couldn’t stop laughing about the naughtiness of the young Joey.
