Award-winning director Cathy Garcia-Molina said that she is showing her “monstrous” side when this thing happens.
Throughout her filmmaking career, Direk Cathy has proven her prowess when it comes to telling different kinds of stories through her movie and TV projects.
For her latest film Love at First Stream, showbiz newbies Daniela Stranner, Anthony Jennings, Kaori Oinuma and Rhys Miguel have the amazing opportunity to work with her.
Direk Cathy said that the 4 young celebrities were also able to know about her “monstrous” side, based on the article in Inquirer Entertainment. “My monstrous side comes out only when my actors don’t listen,” the filmmaker shared.
During a recent press conference for this new film, the showbiz newbies got to know this other side of her. “I’ve had two days of workshop with them, so they know that I have a monstrous side. They also know that this comes out when they don’t listen, but that this also brings out the best in them,” Cathy Garcia-Molina said.
On the other hand, the prominent director said that she is excited to work with the new pairs of love teams. She described them as like sponges that absorb everything and that they are willing to learn.
Without bragging, mentioning her achievements as a director is factual. Direk Cathy was able to launch onscreen partnerships that became hits such as Kristine Hermosa and Diether Ocampo, John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, and Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.
Cathy Garcia-Molina attributed her willingness to teach the newbies about the craft to the fact that when she was also a newbie, her mentors guided and trusted her.
