What did Cathy Garcia-Molina say about John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo?
Award-winning director Cathy Garcia-Molina was asked if she has “sama ng loob” to A-list stars John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.
Direk Cathy was the director of Lloydie and Bea’s hit movies One More Chance and A Second Chance, as well as Miss You Like Crazy. Previously, there were reports that the prominent filmmaker will direct the reunion movie of the popular onscreen partners and it was supposed to be under Star Cinema, the film company of ABS-CBN.
However, both John Lloyd and Bea are now in the Kapuso network. In a previous interview, Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina said that the reunion movie of Lloydie and Bea will push through even though the latter is also set to do a movie with Alden Richards produced by GMA Pictures, Viva Films, and APT Entertainment.
On the other hand, when the director was asked about the supposed Lloydie-Bea reunion movie just recently, her answer changed, based on the article in Bandera.
“Ako po as their director hindi na. Pero parang tuloy po with a different director,” the filmmaker said. Then, she was asked if she has “sama ng loob” to Bea Alonzo. She answered that she has no feeling like this towards the A-list stars.
“Wala po. I respect their choices (John Lloyd and Bea).” Cathy Garcia-Molina said. When the joked that Popoy and Basha are no longer in the Kapamilya network was thrown at her, the filmmaker answered, “Ha-hahaha! Hindi naman pang-forever ‘yan (smiling face emoji).”
The director was also asked if she has a discussion with John Lloyd and Bea on their possible guesting on her YouTube channel, she said that in the camp of the actor, they are just fixing his schedule but she has not mentioned the actress.
