Here’s what Erich Gonzales said about her dual role in ‘La Vida Lena’
Actress Erich Gonzales shared the lesson she learned from playing the characters of Magda and Lena in the series La Vida Lena.
From joining the Kapamilya talent search Star Circle Quest in 2004, Erich has paved her way to stardom under Star Magic, the talent management firm of ABS-CBN.
“They’re family. Marami naman ako natutunan. Yung mga experiences natin yun naman yung tumutulong sa atin. To help us grow, makakapag-shape din sa atin. kahit na ano pang mangyari they’re just there. Na-fi-feel ko yung support nila,” she shared, based on the article in PUSH.
When asked about the lesson she learned from her new series, Erich Gonzales said that the story of Magda and Lena is really relatable.
“Iba rin kasi talaga yung pagmamahal eh, kasi hindi lang para sa pamilya, pati sa sarili. Kasi lahat tayo meron tayo nun, kumbaga innate na yun sa atin,” the actress said.
Then, Erich shared one scene that really left a mark on her. That was the time when Magda was being bullied and ridiculed, she said that people who were doing that do not matter to her and so what they were saying does not matter to her also.
“I guess it’s human nature, I feel like everyone talks talaga. Kumbaga nasa sa ‘yo lang yan kung magpapa-apekto ka ba or kung ano yung gagawin mo. Kumbaga yung perspective, ganun lang. Yun siguro talaga,” Erich Gonzales added.
Meanwhile, the actress said that just like her previous roles, she is doing her best to make her new characters memorable and different from the ones that she already did. For her, doing this is a challenge and with the help of the directors, she was able to pull it off.
