Authorities Warns Public Against Circulating Links Containing Virus or Malware

The local government units have warned the public regarding the circulating link, which allegedly contains virus or malware.

Nowadays, most people are using social media in various purposes such as educational, informative, entertainment and communication. However, some individuals are using it to take advantage towards others.

The Facebook page “Proud Caviteño” has shared the photo of links, which is currently circulating online. The links allegedly contains virus or malware. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

Malware

The social media page warned the public regarding the links, which is spreading throughout the internet. The suspicious links may ask for personal details and information, which might be used by hackers for their personal interest.

The page advised the Filipino people not to open those links because it allegedly triggers the auto-sharing of the malware. The link might auto-share to our contacts on Facebook and messenger without the user’s knowledge.
