GMA has given this showbiz big break to Marian Rivera
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera recalled the big break in showbiz that GMA-7 gave her almost 20 years ago.
Marian is one of the bankable talents of the Kapuso network. Throughout her years in the entertainment industry, she has proven that she is worthy of her star status.
In a video recently released by GMA-7, Marian shared how proud she is to be a Kapuso for almost two decades of her showbiz career. She shared that she is still in awe every time she remembers how she started and where she is now.
Marian Rivera said that reaching her status was just a dream before but through the support of her loved ones and the trust that the Kapuso network has given her, the dream has become a reality.
Then, the actress reminisced about her first TV appearance. “Naalala ko noong unang show ko pa lang, pinag-igihan ko talaga, ginawa ko lahat ng best ko, lahat ng makakya ko,” Marian shared.
It was because she wanted to prove that she is worthy of the chance that GMA-7 has given to her. Indeed, her effort paid off as she was given a major project that really boosted her career.
Marian Rivera was given the chance to portray the popular character in a Mexican series Marimar and this became her big break in showbiz that opened more doors of opportunity for her. “At tuluyang nagbago ang lahat noong ipakilala ako sa inyo bilang first Pinoy Marimar. Pagkatapos noon sunod-sunod nang natupad ang mga pangarap ko,” the Kapuso Primetime Queen said.
