Here’s what Andrea Torres said about the alleged sitcom with John Lloyd Cruz.
ANDREA TORRES – After the contract renewal, Andrea Torres expressed excitement over the rumored sitcom she’s going to have with the A-list actor.
With the help of Kapuso host Willie Revillame, A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz made his comeback on television through the GMA network, and since then, the game show host has gushed about his plans with him. He once mentioned that he’s planning to make a sitcom for the actor and Kapuso actress Andrea Torres.
Such a plan from the host has created a buzz online because the exes of John Lloyd and Andrea – Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna – are together as a couple and already engaged. Revillame said in a previous article, “Kinausap ko si Sir Carlo para ipagpaalam si John Lloyd at napakabait niya. Pinayagan niya si John Lloyd sa pinaplano namin na sitcom, kasama si Andrea Torres.”
And now that Andrea renewed her contract with the GMA network, she expressed her excitement about the rumored sitcom and she really hopes that it will happen. She is open to doing it because she’s a fan of the actor and she has not done a sitcom yet. However, there’s nothing pitched to her as of now about this.
She said based on PEP, “Talagang bet ko rin na matuloy kasi bibihira lang naman ang ganitong opportunity. Actually, nagulat tayong lahat na pupwede na ang ganito.”
She’s also elated with the thought that there’s a bigger chance for her to work now with big stars like the A-list actor and Bea Alonzo who is now officially a Kapuso. Meanwhile, Andrea has been a Kapuso since 2008 and she’s grateful for the trust and the opportunities that the GMA has given her.
