Reel and real-life sweethearts Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil shared their experiences as two of the judges in the recently-concluded Bb. Pilipinas 2021 pageant.
As judges, they asked questions to the candidates. Liza was the one who asked candidate from Quezon Province Patricia Babista and her question was, “Fake news, bashing, rants and the like are abound on social media. Why do you think they should not be part of the new beautiful even if they encourage social interactions on this platform?”
Miss Oriental Mindoro Graciella Lehmann received this question from Enrique: “What are your thoughts about romantic relationships which began and develop on social media during the pandemic?”
Based on the article in the Philippine Star, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil were among the top trending topics during the pageant night that was held at the Araneta Coliseum.
Through their separate social media posts, the celebrity couple shared their experience as judges of the national beauty pageant.
Liza said that she had a blast and that she is thankful for the opportunity. “It was such a difficult task since they are all uniquely beautiful, confident, and intelligent. Congratulations to everyone!” she added.
For Enrique, it was an awesome time. “Had an awesome time last night you all are winners,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
Fashion designer Rajo Laurel, broadcaster Pinky Webb, Novotel general manager Maria Garcia, CEO Ever Bilena, beauty queen Kylie Verzosa and Tourism Undersecretary Benito Bengzon, Jr. were also among the judges.
