Johnny Manahan shared something about the offer he received from the Kapuso network
Star-maker Johnny Manahan admitted that he just couldn’t refuse the offer from GMA-7 and because of that, he is now the consultant of GMA Artist Center.
For the longest time in his career in showbiz, Mr. M has been known to be the man behind Star Magic, the talent management firm of ABS-CBN.
On being a Kapuso now, based on the article in PEP, the director-talent handler said, “Parang nabuhay ako uli.” Johnny Manahan admitted that there was a time when he thought of resigning and just take a rest. “I really thought I would just leave it all behind and just become a grandfather, play with my apos,” he shared.
However, he can’t simply leave the things that he loves to do. It is also because he misses doing his works in the entertainment industry.
Then, his friend from GMA-7 convinced him amid the pandemic to work in the Kapuso network. Mr. M said that he will go on with the negotiation and so it happened.
“I think mahirap tanggihan yung offer nila. Maganda yung offer, nilatag nila yung mga gagawin ko, yung gusto nilang mangyari. Natuwa naman ako sa mga plano. So, that was an easy thing to do,” Johnny Manahan revealed.
Based on the article, the star-maker has previously mentioned that he goes where the work leads him. He would be in a place where people need him. On the other hand, Mr. M admitted that he does not always know if his decision is right or not but he always goes with something that makes him feel “kaba”.
