Lady Resident Expresses Dismay Towards Monthly Fees for Housing Project in Baseco

The Facebook page “Khoparts VLOG” has shared the video footage of a lady resident complaining over her monthly fee for the housing project in Baseco Compound. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that the woman is expressing her disappointment regarding her monthly dues for Mayor Isko Moreno’s housing project at Basecommunity in Baseco Compound, Manila.
The woman said that the occupants are required to pay P2, 000 monthly fee but it is refundable whenever they decide to leave the house. However, any damage from the house will be deducted from the total amount of refund.
The lady claimed that they are required to pay the monthly payment for lifetime. The female resident preferred to leave in squatter’s area rather than staying at Base Community wherein they need to pay.
The female occupant also reiterated that she had no job and no stable source of income. She stressed that paying P2, 000 every month is quite hard for poor residents like her.
